PROFESSIONAL BIRTH PHOTOGRAPHY TELLS YOUR STORY 

I started my photography journey many years ago in the birth room. In my time as a professional birth photographer, I have captured strength, pride, fearlessness, sadness, and emotion that compares to nothing else that I know of.

The birth of your child is one of the most precious events in your life. It is intense, laborious, and evokes feelings you likely have never experienced. The whole event is fleeting, and the details escape us while we are in the moment. As your birth photographer, I will preserve it all in such a way that you will be able to relive those precious moments frame by frame. I capture births in a story format so that you can follow along each year on your little one's birthday. You can share your birth story with friends and family, and they too will be able to feel the emotion as if they were there with you.

Your birth can be captured with as much personal detail as you wish, and will be documented with your preferences and requests in mind. I offer no judgement on how you choose to birth, and relish in the fact that you chose me to capture your most intimate experience. I welcome clients from all walk of life, cultures, lifestyles, and ideologies. Every person deserves to have their story preserved!

BIRTH STORY CAPTURE

Every birth story is unique, and every birth story captured illustrates part of a family's history. Birth photography tells a story of the moments before, during, and immediately after the birth of your baby. It is artistic, candid, emotional, and real. The photos that I take can be as graphic or as modest as you desire. When you hire me as your birth photographer, you also have the confidence knowing that I am also an experienced dual trained and certified labor doula. I know where to be, when to be there, and how to capture the moments that matter most in a discreet, professional way.

EVERY BIRTH STORY INCLUDES:

  • A pre-birth coffee date where we discuss your vision, concerns, and desires for your birth capture (usually around 36 weeks)

  • On-call availability starting at 38 weeks

  • Arrival at your home or birth site once you have entered active labor

  • Up to 12 hours of birth capture (each additional hour will be billed at $25 per).

  • I will remain with you and your little one for one hour after the birth to capture details and tiny baby toes

I offer 3 options for birth story capture. The option you choose determines the price of the package.

  • BIRTH STORY ALBUM ($1299)

    • Includes a custom 10x10 heirloom album with two lines of embossing on the cover, a choice of cover options which include genuine leather, cruelty-free leather, linen, and silk

    • Your album will tell the complete story of your birth through the images I capture

    • A complete collection of high resolution digital images which in order, tell the story of your birth experience. 

    • Web-sized images are also provided so you can share you images via online avenues

    • Custom digital birth announcement 

  • DIGITAL BIRTH STORY ($699)

    • A complete collection of high resolution digital images which in order, tell the story of your birth experience. 

    • Web-sized images are also provided so you can share you images via online avenues

    • Custom digital birth announcements

  • DOULA CLIENT DIGITAL BIRTH STORY ADD-ON ($399)

    • This option is for booked doula clients only. It adds on the digital birth story option (shown above) to any doula care option.
