Just over one year ago, my family became members at Perdido Bay United Methodist Church. After a few months of attending, we knew we had found our church home. Every time we stepped through those doors we were welcomed with love and warmth. It was refreshing to feel so genuinely cared for by EVERYONE we encountered at PBUMC.
The mission of our church is to be the heart of the community. Through acts of giving, support, encouragement, and prayer, I can confidently say that the PBUMC family is just that. We feel at home here, and I am ever grateful for the opportunity to be a part of something so wonderful. God has blessed us, and being able to use my gifts to glorify His name is one of my greatest honors.
Last evening was a beautiful Florida evening. It was hot but not too humid, and a warm breeze kept the shade very pleasant. Green flags were flying, and the sun was shining bright. God's grace was abundant and ever present at the big pavilion where food and laughter was overflowing, and man was my heart full.
Seven of our PBUMC children accepted Christ as their savior last evening. Countless people reaffirmed their faith as they remembered their baptisms. It was a perfect evening, and one that I won't ever forget! God is so so so great!
