For the longest time I was in the thick of the baby and toddler years. Now that our littlest is 5, I look back with fondness (and a little bit of anxiety) on how hard (and sweet) those days were. I'm soaking it in, relishing in the mess (to the best of my ability), and trying hard not to wish the hard stuff away.
These babies don't keep.
I KNOW that the momma in these photos will agree with me when I tell you to capture it all, but remember to be present! You're going to blink and your precious little one will be taller than you. Our big kids will be our babies forever.
It was an honor to spend time with this sweet family. While I cannot imagine how those early years must have been for this momma and daddy, I can confidently say that for them, these are the days!
